Analytics is off until you switch it on, and you can switch it back off at any time. The same control sits at the bottom of every page on this site.
1. What we mean by “cookies”
A cookie is a small file a site stores in your browser. This site also uses local storage and session storage, which do the same job by a different mechanism. We treat all three the same way and list all three below, because the distinction matters to engineers and not to you.
2. Essential — always on
These keep the quote form and the calculator working. They hold no advertising identifier and are never shared with anyone. There is no opt-out, because switching them off would break the thing you came here to use.

3. Analytics — off unless you turn it on
Nothing in this section loads until you allow it. Not the script, not the cookie, not a single request to Google. If you choose “Essential only”, or simply ignore the banner, this site makes no third-party requests at all.

4. What we never do
- We do not attach your name, email address, mobile number or ABN to an analytics event. Event parameters are filtered against an allow-list in code, so it cannot happen by accident either.
- We do not sell browsing data, and we do not run advertising pixels.
- We do not read your credit file, your tax returns or your bank transactions through anything in your browser.
5. Controlling this in your browser
Every major browser lets you block or clear cookies and site data from its settings. Clearing this site’s data will also clear your consent choice and any saved quote progress, and you will be asked again on your next visit.
